Cambium ePMP 3000L
The ePMP 3000L is ideal for low-density, small subscriber-count sectors as a complement to full-scale ePMP 3000 deployments.
Features and Capabilities:
- Is a 2×2 MIMO Access Point based on 802.11ac Wave 2 technology leveraging the proven ePMP operating software
- Has a built-in GPS receiver for TDD sync (and a connector for an external GPS antenna)
- Supports 20/40/80 MHz channels and up to 256QAM for a throughput of up to 600 Mbps
- Has two RP-SMA connectors for use with the Cambium 90/120-degree sector (bracket included), RF Elements Twistport ePMP adaptor for horn antennas, or other third-party horn, omni, or sector antennas.
Often times the ePMP 3000L is deployed in concert with the ePMP 3000 to provide coverage in hard-to-reach areas that have low subscriber density (sometimes referred to as micropop applications). Because the ePMP 3000L supports GPS synchronization, it can be deployed alongside the ePMP 3000 with limited self-interference, which increases the overall spectral efficiency.
In other cases, the ePMP 3000L is a lower-cost approach to getting started with the latest 802.11ac Wave 2 based Force 300 subscriber modules. ePMP 3000L is a 2×2 connectorized radio so does not support the 4×4 MU-MIMO antenna or smart beam-steering antenna that is available with the ePMP 3000.
